Project: Complete Bathroom Remodel in Stoneham, MA
Our clients needed a full remodel of their family bathroom, converting the tub to a shower, freshening up the space, and making it more cohesive across the shower and the vanity area. We completely gutted the bathroom, installed new flooring, new tempered glass window & trim, new vanity & linen cabinet, walk-in shower with glass doors, and beautiful tilework. Behind the scenes work included adding insulation, and updating wiring and plumbing. The end result is a gorgeous bathroom that is light and open, with great visual texture from the two floor mosaics. The harmonious color palette is soft, serene, and calming, and the new space is more functional with plenty of storage.
The shower walls are ceramic white glossy 3×12 subway tile, and the shower floor is marble mosaic in a small herringbone pattern. Because this was the only shower in the house, the family was brave enough to install an outdoor camp shower to use during the warm months of this renovation.
The shower includes a wall-mounted satin nickel shower head and a removable hand shower mounted on a bar for easy rinsing and cleaning. The carrara marble border is also used to make the niche shelves and footrest.
The light gray vanity and linen cabinetry provide great open and closed storage, and it is complimented perfectly by the satin nickel faucet and hardware. The beautiful lighted mirror is perfect for applying makeup!
There was a vision in mind and the whole family was involved in selecting materials, including the 16 year old choosing this gorgeous marble flower petal mosaic tile.
We really love how everything came together in this bathroom, and we truly enjoyed working with this family to help bring their vision to life!
