Project: Complete kitchen remodel with a modern farmhouse style in Wakefield, MA.
Do know the saying “the cobblers children have no shoes”? When it came to the outdated kitchen in our owner’s home, it definitely rang true in this case! The kitchen was original to the house, and was in need of major updating and repair. It was time for Rob to pull all of his ideas together, and create the kitchen that he always wanted in his own home! The entire room was gutted, and the doorway was widened to the dining room to create a better flow. We also brought in more light with a larger window over the kitchen sink, and added a large bay window near the eating area.
Once the layout was decided, the fun began! From the beadboard ceiling, down to the satin finished walnut floors, this unique farmhouse style kitchen has many showroom features! We’re thrilled with the finished project, and had a blast building it!
The dove white kitchen cabinets were the foundation for this project. Everything else fell into place after that, including the beautiful Carrara marble backsplash, and the soapstone farmhouse sink and countertops. The amazing beadboard ceiling tops it all off perfectly!

We added a large bay window to bring in more natural light, which also enhances the beautiful powder blue beadboard ceiling.
We love the deep color of the walnut hardwood floor, and the satin finish gives it the perfect amount of shine.
The separate peninsula area is perfect for a family on-the-go! It allows space for eating, a microwave drawer, and a convenient under-the-counter beverage refrigerator. The upper cabinets with glass fronts are the perfect place to show off your favorite dishes or glassware.
The Bertazzoni induction range not only has high quality performance, but it’s also absolutely gorgeous!
The Waterstone Wheel Pulldown Faucet in a distressed antique pewter finish is one of the first things you see when you walk into the room. It’s an amazing showpiece!

The leathered finish on the soapstone countertop and sink gives it a unique look, and the drainer grooves allow a handy spot to dry dishes.
