Project: Kitchen and Mudroom remodel in Reading, MA
Located in Reading, MA, this design and cabinetry project was a collaboration with J. Bradley Architects and All Matters Construction. J. Bradley reconfigured the home’s staircase to create a more functional main level, which allowed us to expand both the kitchen and mudroom into the former seating area — opening up the space and improving flow throughout the home.
With a formal dining room just around the corner, we were able to eliminate the need for a kitchen table by incorporating island seating, offering a casual spot for everyday meals. The client’s vision for earthy, natural tones came to life through the pairing of creamy white kitchen cabinetry and a moss green mudroom just beyond.
Though small in size, the mudroom sits right off the home’s main entry and truly steals the show. Its rich color and thoughtful detailing make it feel like its own distinct space, while maintaining a seamless connection to the kitchen.
